of the city’s cultural scene.

Echoing the opening of the Brussels Art Square (BAS), Voices in the City launches its festivities in the Grand Sablon with the performance of Clara Inglese (soprano) and Alyssia Hondekijn (harpist). This contemporary interpretation of texts to music by great composers is designed by the particular surroundings of paintings and sculptures in the gallery : a charming moment !

bilingual poetic jam in "La Fleur en papier doré"

The well renown and Belgian surrealists’ favorite, La Fleur en papier doré, proudly hosts the readings of Laurence Vielle and Jan Ducheyne. Their poetry will be accompanied by the live piano improvisations of Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven : an energizing afternoon !

three creations in dialogue : poetry, engraving, and music 

For the launch of the poetry collection by André Simoncini and the engravings of Holley Chirot, Adrien Tsilogiannis composes twelve dreamlike preludes for piano solo. Interpretating their voices, Mathias Lecomte (piano) and Myriam Watthee-Delmotte (voice) strike the hour between noon and midnight: meet us every hour for twelve enchanting moments !
